Michael Hurey is a partner with the firm. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a minor in Physics from Cal Poly Pomona in 1985 and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1988. Before attending law school, Mr. Hurey was an engineer and member of the technical staff at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Mr. Hurey has specialized in the field of intellectual property law throughout his legal career. He has experience in intellectual property litigation, including trials and appeals in patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret cases. Mr. Hurey is admitted to practice in the State of California, all United States District Courts in California, and the Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Federal Circuits.
Mr. Hurey works in all areas of intellectual property law, including: patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, internet-related law and unfair competition.
